VINTAGE MID CENTURY MODERN MARC CHAGALL "ASHER WINDOW" FRAMED NEEDLEPOINT ART

This vintage mid-century modern tapestry entitled "Asher Window" by Marc Chagall is a beautiful piece of art that depicts a famous painting by the renowned artist. 

The needlepoint tapestry (without the frame) is 18" inches by 13.5" inches.

The frame around the needlepoint tapestry is made of wood and measures 21.25 inches in length, 15 inches in width, and 1.25 inches in height. 

It is framed within a custom-made wood frame.

The tapestry is a single-piece work and is not personalized. 

It is an original piece made in the 1960s in the United States. 

The item is handmade and has no signature. 

Condition: Pre-Owned, Excellent.  Please review the photos to decide for yourself the condition of the item as I am not a quality assessment professional.

There is some slight wear around the perimeter wood of the frame and the original back paper of the frame that covers the back of the needlepoint tapestry.

No aging to the colors of the yarn.

No loose threads or missing pieces within the tapestry.

Has been in a climate-controlled storage unit for about 40 years and has always been in a smoke- and odor-free environment.

Much care has always been bestowed upon this beautiful tapestry.  It has been in my step-mother's family for decades.

This makes an awesome piece to keep as a family heirloom honoring their faith.
