here is a vintage circa 1960-1980 carved alabaster penguin sculpture / doorstop / single bookend. measuring 9" tall x 4 1/4" across x 2 1/2 deep and weighing 2 lbs 4 oz. has a glass eye and has "ITALY" and numerals in base. this rare penguin has had a small repair to tip of beak as shown in several pictures. there are normal age related light dings, brush marks and small imperfections throughout appearing as small white spots and has lots of character. could possibly be polished? please view all pics and use zoom to see small repair. sold as is as found from the estate of a doorstop collector.
