it is one of our favorite all time wah sounds, is one of the few 60s era wahs that actually has significant circuit differences from the vox/ thomas/crybaby circuit. gibson even filed their own patent 4 years BEFORE vox. 

~~~it IS different, and the sound is the PROOF! boomerangs have an extended wide mid-range that is very vocal, and a sweet top end that never hurts your ears. this wah nails that tone.

white Faux Boomers are made with our exclusive "TONE TANK" inductor - designed to mimic the classic EL RAD in response. we use LT SPICE circuit simulation to analyse old inductors and parts, getting the tone and specifications correct.

-trubypass wire carefully woven into the stock harness.

-316 style alpha made dpdt tru-bypass switch.( better quality than old style carling in our experience) 

-buffer is removed, gets the sound back to the original 60s unbuffered 'pure' wah tone.

-2 trimpots:
input, and bias trimmers for volume matching and full growl. this allows you to tailor the response to any pickups or guitar, bass ,etc.   ~~~anything from stock boomerang sweet watery sweep all the way to swampy, nasty growl is all available in the settings.

-special vintage long USA 70s transistors specially selected for correct maestro BG2 low gain- only pure sweet highs.

-expen$ive silver mica and other high quality caps in key tone path locations.

- newer style, used white dunlop wah shell, might have minor cosmetic issues but still look 'good' condition. Note. The shell may have discreet plugs filling a few small holes on one side,  at times we use white shells from the 105Q bass wah (differs from photos).

-includes new hand painted "FAUX BOOMER logo plate on front- each one unique and decorated by gagan himself.
