Blade only: the rear wiper arm is a separate part. If your arm is bent or the
pivot is stripped, replace the arm first — a new blade won't fix a tired arm.

Before you buy — check your generation.

Earlier X5s take a different blade. The F15 (2014–2018) and E70 (2007–2013)
use different rear wiper part numbers — this blade won't clip onto those arms.

Other BMW SUVs too. The X3 and X7 use their own rear blades — don't assume
one BMW SUV blade fits another.

Fitting it — two minutes, no tools
- With the tailgate closed, lift the rear wiper arm away from the glass until it stands on its own.
- Press the release tab where the blade meets the arm and slide the old blade off.
- Click the new blade on until the tab locks, then lower the arm gently back onto the glass — don't let it snap down.
- Run the washer and one wipe cycle to seat the rubber.
Tip: the rear blade bakes in the sun even when you rarely use it — streaking, chatter or a
