This vintage PRINTING BLOCK shows a Caduceus Medical Emergency Symbol with the snake & staff on a shield and the Blue Cross Blue Shield logos next to one another as an advertisement for Blue Cross Blue Shield.  The size of this printers block is 1-5/8" tall x 1-13/16" wide and is the standard "type high" 15/16" of an inch thick.  This printing block can be used to make prints with the right ink and pressure.  It also makes a great stand alone piece to display in any home or Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance office.
