Add a touch of elegance to your home decor with this stunning Venetian handmade art glass figurine/sculpture from the mid-20th century. Measuring 7 inches in length, 7.75 inches in height, and 3 inches in width, this JICo Venetian Murano bird figurine features an abstract pattern in multi-color. The glossy finish gives it a vibrant and eye-catching look, making it a perfect addition to your collection of decorative pottery and glassware. With its unique and intricate design, this original and licensed reproduction production style art glass figurine is a must-have for any mid-century modern enthusiast. The item also comes with a printed label backstamp indicating its origin from Italy, specifically Venice, which adds to its authenticity and value. This vintage piece is believed to have been manufactured between 1960 and 1969. JICo Art Glass (abbreviation for Jordon Imports Company) was in business from mid 1950's to the early 1970's. Reportedly Owner Jack Blancot designed the pieces & they were manufactured by his Italian partner Spartacl Collelli. They used a silver label with a black Gondola (Photos 8, 9 , & 10). This piece has gold flecked - gold dust with Amethyst mosaics- clear outside with amethyst  head & base. They were known for bright colors & innovative use of metal & other materials in their glass. Some experts believe them to be underrated for the time period. No chips or cracks but I did want to show what could be inside (Photos 12 & 13) either a flaw in manufacturing or something else? It is only on the side with label. Beautiful unusual piece! Thanks for Viewing!
