The previous album "Timely! was a huge hit and led to the recording of the album in L.A., produced by Toshiki Kadomatsu.
The album was produced by Toshiki Kadomatsu and recorded in L.A. The band featured first call musicians from the West Coast at the time, including Leon Chancler and Ed Green on drums, Nathan East on bass, Paul Jackson Jr. and Calros Rios on guitar, Don Grusin on key, Ernie Watts on sax, Jerry Hey on trumpet, and many more. The colorful and vivid songs, from dance tracks to mellow tunes, are the culmination of the Kadomatsu trilogy and a prologue to the danceable Anri of the late 80s.
