Geotextile Fabric for Effective Weed Control and Plant Growth

PLEASE NOTE:

Benefits of Black Geotextile: Black geotextile is an effective solution to suppress weed growth. By mulching the soil, it strengthens plant root systems, accelerates development, and increases durability. Additionally, geotextile regulates soil moisture, reducing evaporation while allowing rainwater and liquid fertilizers to penetrate.

Usage in Various Applications: Geotextile, also known as nursery mat or mulching fabric, is versatile for horticulture, specialist horticulture, fruit and vegetable plantations, and home gardens. It prevents weed growth and maintains soil moisture, protects plants from pests, and warms the soil to accelerate plant maturation. It also provides frost protection, and especially during spring frosts.

    • Sow or plant into the cut holes
  2. Covering the Soil Around Growing Plants:

    • Replace soil mulching with geotextile around growing plants
    • Cut a strip of geotextile, slide it to the trunk, and attach it to the soil
    • Sprinkle with fertilizer, irrigate, and use liquid fertilizers
    • Remove or cover destroyed fragments with new layers for a practical and aesthetic substrate
    • Decorative stones, bark, or grit can be sprinkled on the geotextile
  3. Covering the Soil Before Harvesting:

    • Use geotextile around plants in tunnels and field crops (e.g., strawberries, cucumbers) for clean fruit harvests without straw
