Midcentury thick large beer goblet painted glass with The Sign of the Virgin Virgo Aug 23-Sept 22 painted decoration. There is a debate on who made these glasses. I believe it was Schooner Glass, I know they done a painted wild west wagon that looks very similar to the painting on it. Some say Tiara Glass, Dunkirk but I found no evidence of that, some say Blendo Glass, West Virginia but I find no evidence of that belief either. There is the Schooner wagon painted as an example. I am not 100 percent sure but as of now that is the most likely the maker, so I will say unknown with that possibility. The harvest gold colored glass is in very good condition for its age, no chips, cracks or stains in the goblet. There is a some very small spots of color loss in the paint. Solid glass stem. 7-7/8 inches tall (a tiny bit under 8 inches), 5-1/8 inches across the rim, 4-1/8 inches across the bottom rim, 3-7/8 inches tall from the bottom to the bowl (stem length). 1-5/8 inches across the ball of the stem. 32 ounces fill it all the way to the rim. A little over two pounds in weight.
