Links Of London Sterling Silver Bloodhound or Basset Hound (sorry, not sure which!) Menu/Place Card Holder 13.37gm Fully Hallmarked. Used - preloved, so minor wear and tear due to normal usage and age - in good, clean and bright condition. As I mentioned in the description for the Bulldog piece - I've not come across many non-jewellery items by Links Of London but I do know that they made bespoke items for individuals and corporate events and also that their pieces reflected an undeniably British eccentricity and humour. I'm afraid I can't tell if this is a Bloodhound or Basset Hound...it does remind me of a rather famous Basset Hound called Henry that belonged to the late MP Sir Clement Freud. This menu or place card holder dates from 1991 and carries an import mark for Sheffield.
