For sale is a vintage book, Evansville at the Bend in the River: An Illustrated History. Written by Kenneth McCutchan, this well-illustrated 144-page hardback tells the story of how a small cluster of log cabins on the big horseshoe bend in the Ohio River grew to become a thriving city of 125,000 and the commercial and culteral hub of the Evansville, Indiana-area. Bartelt and Lonnberg have autograpghed the title page, with an inscription. This book is a first edition, copyright 1982, and comes with its original dust jacket.
