Up for sale here is this complete recap kit for the Dynaco PAS2 preamplifier. If your Dyna PAS preamp has a brass faceplate, this is the kit for you. If it has a silver-colored faceplate, that is the PAS3 or PAS3X and that kit is available here. This kit includes replacements for all of the old molded paper and electrolytic capacitors on these preamplifiers, even the 2750 pf, 1500 pf, and 750 pf caps, and it also includes individual capacitors to replace the 4-section can capacitor. There are also three resistors, a terminal strip and an adapter plate to aid in replacing the can capacitor and the two big power supply caps, and 2 diodes to replace the selenium rectifier.

2 Panasonic 250v radial film capacitors (DC blocker caps)
1 Kemet safety disc capacitor (to replace the .02 uf cap wired across the power switch)
2 Supertech axial 2200 uf 25v caps (for the power supply)

Instructions
These are all high-quality brand new genuine parts. The capacitors are all at the same uf ratings (except the electrolytics go up a tiny bit and the Panasonic film caps are 2.2 uf, which is better) and the same or higher voltage ratings. These are extremely high-quality parts, the same ones I use when I rebuild vintage gear. The film capacitors are all the same uf values, even the .002 uf, .004 uf, .05 uf, and .0075 uf caps. The only change is that the 2750 pf caps are replaced with .0027 uf. No one else offers the exact replacement values! I had these custom-made in order to offer the best replacement parts.
I will include fairly well-written instructions, but this is moderately complicated. You should know what you're doing and have a decent soldering iron and a decent desoldering iron.
