Artec Industries is proud to announce the next generation of Patenet Pending axle trusses. This series of trusses not only builds on our experience as the world leader in axle truss design, it brings it to a whole new level of cost savings, strength, weight savings, simplicity of installation, precision fitment, and complete axle protection never before seen in the industry.
The key feature that sets the APEX truss apart is its unique peaked shape top which provides extra rigidity to the whole truss while allowing both a reduction in weight (vs using a thicker material top) and eliminating long weld seams.
Previous version with long weld seams which can be lead to extra weld warping of the axle, longer install times and can be inconsistent. Without long seams to weld, now you drop the truss directly on to the axle and weld it to the axle faster.
This Truss is the heart of the APEX 1 ton swap kits for JK, JL, and JT and allows not improves rigidity and strength to the axle around the differential, it allows for mounting upper links over the differential if desired.
This truss fits most 14 bolt axles from Chevy/GMC trucks. Van axles are offset differently. Overall length on this truss is 27.29 inch inches.
Note: This truss is very form fitting to the contours of the casting. Due to variances in casting of this axle over the years, some trimming may be necessary on the truss and non-essential parts of the casting.

- 70 percent less welding needed than previous truss designs means less warping, faster turnaround, and lower costs
- All long seams are bent so you don't need to spend time welding them together
- Dimpled holes provide not only weight reduction but rigidity and strength
- Contours both the cast steel differential and can be welded with normal MIG welder and moderate pre-heating and post-heating
- Truss is low profile allowing link joints to be mounted with ideal geometry - about 9 inches from the axle centerline.
- Truss is designed to fit in between Leaf Springs or can be used as a base for mounting link suspension mounts.
- Two piece design means smaller packaging and less shipping costs along with easy installation
- Overall low profile design means your axle is stronger, sleeker, easier to fit into any vehicle, and less likely to interfere with vehicle components.

Note: This kit requires general welding and fabrication skills. Welding should only be done by a competent welder. Artec Industries implies no guarantees or warranties and is not liable for improper installation.
Some grinding and fitment may be required when installing this item. Every axle varies slightly and some fabrication may be required.

This allowed our team to really get hands on experience with diesel trucks and gave them the ability to diagnose diesels over the phone. Shipping
Orders recieved by 3pm Eastern Standard Time, Monday through Friday are normally processed that day. We have several warehouses across the United States that we ship from. Most of our orders come from Kentucky, Idaho, California, or Texas. Most items are in stock in all 4 warehouses and we ship from the closest warehouse to you. We do our best to give everyone a tracking number for their order, if you do not receive a tracking number please just message or call us and ask. We ship items via UPS, Fedex, and our warehouses freight. Shipping is additional to Canada, Hawaii, Alaska, and Puerto Rico. Please inquire for price quotes. Be sure to include full address for the quickest service. We normally ship within 1 business day, in many cases the very same day you place your order.
Terms and Conditons
Once you commit to buy one of our items you are entering into a legally binding contract. Please make sure you are 100% ready to buy prior to committing to buy. All Items we sell are new, unless noted otherwise. We do occasionally sell used items we remove from vehicles we work on. In that case, the item or items will be listed as "used". We do accept returns up to 30 days after purchase. All items must be new, not installed, in original packaging and include all original paperwork, installation parts and hardware. *To return an item bought off EBAY call 866-737-4966 and ask to speak to returns department. Please let them know that you purchased the item from EBAY and not our online store*
Returns
1: Complete the Easy Returns form at our website 2: Within 24-48 hours our returns department will contact you either via email or phone. 3: Our returns department will issue a RMA number and provide further instructions to complete the return. 4: Preparing your item for shipment: a.Returns must be packaged securely in an outer carton b.Do not write on the original product itself. Only on the outside shipping carton. c.Returned product must be in new, re-sealable condition, with all original boxes, packaging, parts,cables, manuals,etc d.Keep your tracking number until the return process is finalized. 5: Upon receipt, all returns will be inspected, and, at our discretion , credit may be refused or a restocking fee up to 15% may be assessed. 6. Customer is responsible for shipping cost incurred on returned products. Original shipping charges will not be refunded. If an item is deemed defective upon receipt, Thoroughbred Diesel will provide a pre-paid return shipping label. Once we have confirmed the package is in transit, we will ship you a replacement.
