This is a coveted and extremely elusive bottle of vintage Noir parfum by Weil; unboxed. It was received as a gift with various other Weil perfumes by a friend in France in the 1950's after the war. The gift giver worked at Bon Marche. The volume is not marked on the bottle but I would guess 8-10 ml. The bottle is less than 1/3 full but plenty remains of this elusive parfum. Please see photos. This bottle measures 2" tall X
1" across X 5/8" deep. It is a refill bottle for an early Weil vaporisateur. The rubber plug is still intact under the hard seal. Breaking into the bottle will have to be done carefully...
Noir was launched in 1936 as a woody oriental. Top and heart notes include tuberose, orange blossom, jasmine, rose, peach and iris; with base notes of leather, vetiver, tonka, styrax and musk.
