“As a language Arts and Social Studies Project, the Sixth Grade Class which Mrs. Betty Sennett teaches decided to write a history of Mt. Zion. Since the Bicentennial of our Nation is about to be celebrated, we decided this would be an effective way to observe it in our own community. This area was being settled only fifty years after the declaration of Independence was signed.”
