New US Import Tariff Rules      (Sep. 24, 2025)     


Buyers in the US shall pay State Online Sales Tax through eBay at the time of purchase.

In addition, starting August 29, 2025, US buyers shall pay US Import Tax for imports from Japan. 

Our shipping charges include US Import Tax and customs brokerage fees, so that buyers will not have to pay these charges at the time of delivery. 




RETURNS

1. If the item shipped to you is defective/damaged or not the item you ordered, Very Best Cameras Japan, upon our discretion, may issue a refund. 

 1) All claims to this effect must be made to us within the first thirty days (30 days) of delivery.  

 2)  Upon our consent and approval of the claim, return everything you have received.  Re-use our original carton to pack the item securely.  Provide an international tracking number that is trackable in Japan. 

2. No returns accepted for items damaged due to negligence or misuse.

3. No returns accepted due to buyer's remorse.


-DETAILS-

(1) For item(s) reported as defective/damaged, we will forward the item(s) to a manufacturer for inspection and offer the best possible solution as immediately as possible. You will be reimbursed for the return postage.

(2) If the claim is that the item is defective, but the inspection conducted by the manufacturer reveals it is not, we will inform you then will issue a refund after deducting the costs of original shipping and return shipping.   

According to our experience, initial defects to merchandise, especially brand new merchandise from the factory, is extremely rare. If the buyer (end-user) believes there is a problem with merchandise, we encourage a check with a local dealer or local service center first to make sure if the item really does have a defect or problems are due to incorrect usage. If the buyer (end-user) confirms the item is defective, please contact us to return the item to us with a description of problem(s).


(3) We are unable to accept item returns due to buyer's remorse. If a buyer declines to receive the item or files a dispute (Return Request/Case) because he or she does not like the item or whatever the buyer's own reasons, we will issue a refund after deducting the costs of original shipping and return shipping along with any customs charges incurred.   If we sold the item with a free shipping option, we will deduct the actual shipping costs including return shipping we have paid using a JPY/USD exchange ratio for the day of refund.
