CONDITION & DETAILS
This Optimus stove is made primarily of brass. The three supports are steel and the top is steel. It is in excellent original condition - has never been lit. The wire holding very top of brass burner has never been undone. The clip holds part of burner to top has never been unclipped. Sticker on tank is excellent. Brass tank is not dented, but has lost some of the shine. Due to age, there is a tarnished area on outer edge to the left of the sticker.
Feet are snug when inserted. Gas cap looks fine. Pump looks good - I did not take this apart - probably could use a drop or two of appropriate oil; however, it would be better to keep this stove as a super nice unlit specimen in someone's collection or museum.
The writing on the top and on the bottom is "debossed" or pressed into the metal. The message on the tank says "Sole makers of the genuine Optimus Apparatus". This message is in English and 4 other languages. Model No. 48 is also on the tank.

Made in Sweden. Model No. 48. I believe this is a hard to find model.
