Once you receive your item, please do not sign the release papers from the transport company until you have properly inspected the goods and made sure nothing is damaged by the shipping company.If there is any noticeable sign of damage on the product, please note it down on the waybill before signing it at the bottom. If you do not make a note of this on the waybill, JDM Tennessee will NOT be held responsible for any damages during shipment.

A certified mechanic must install the engine. Warranty will be void if installed by uncertified mechanic.
Warranty will be void if long block, i.e. Head and / or block are dismantled or opened or replaced by customer.
30days start up warranty on the head and block only, &(transmission if included) starts from the day you receive the product.
No warranty on the external parts (e.g. Electronic parts, timing belt, water pump, belts, seals, spark plugs, spark plug wires, sensors etc

In the unlikely event that the item needs to be returned, please contact JDM Tennessee for authorization code.
Freight must be prepaid, if any item is shipped collect or without (Return Authorization code) will be refused immediately.
The engine must be returned in the same condition it was sent, all missing parts will be charged to customer at its retail price.
We will require a detailed written description (work order) of the described defective part from a certified mechanic only.
Upon completion of the test of returned item and if your claim is determined to be valid, we will notify you for replacement or refund.
If during inspection we discover that the item was damaged or destroyed while under the client's possession, we will not issue any refund or form of compensation.

The purchase price represents the cost of the long block only (i.e. cylinder head and short block only) or transmission.
The add-on parts on the engine sold by JDM Tennessee are left attached for testing purpose only, for your convenience and are free of charge.
Please inspect the delivered item in the presence of the delivery personnel and insure that the item is not damaged before signing the release documents, failure to do so may result in a denial claim against the shipping company.
Tennessee JDM motors will not be held responsible if the engine purchased does not fit into the designated vehicle. Before purchasing the engine/transmission, the customer must verify that the engine will fit into said vehicle
This product was removed from a japan model vehicle and is interchangeable with international model and year makes (with modification).
Engines complete with accessories may not comply with the emission control laws of the state in which it is being sold or used. State and/or federal authorities require that you change over the emission devices from your old engine to the engine you are installing to make it comply.
