All are Soft contact lens handling tools with different end sizes and shapes.  

OptiWand^® Soft Contact Lens Insertion

Try All Wands and ends to find the best fit for you

METHOD #1

Step 1: Apply Eye Drops, close eyes and massage the eye to help lubricate the lens and eye thoroughly.

Using Eye Drops prior to insertion is a MUST!  Move Quickly as Lenses Shrivel Fast when out of Solution!

Step 2: Position your SOFT contact lens on the center of either End of the OptiWand^®.  We suggest trying the end you feel will fit into your eye cavity comfortably. Step 3: Using a Light Source, center the OptiWand^® to your eye by looking through the Center Hole.

Do Not Look Up or Down as the Wand may hold the Lens.

Step 4: Using your non-dominant hand spread your eye lids keeping your eyelashes out of the way.

Draw the OptiWand^® toward your eye until the lens touches it gently. Give it a slight Twist to release the lens.

Step 5:  Blink until comfortable. Now the lens is centered on your eye.

METHOD #2

Step 1: Apply Eye Drops! STAND the wand UP on a countertop and place the LENS into the center of the Bullseye End, then add necessary FLUIDS.

Step 2:  Spread Eyes WIDE and lower down SLOWLY until the eye touches the lens. Blink until comfortable.

OptiWand^® Soft Contact Lens Removal

You can use any OptiWand^® End to Remove. We suggest trying them ALL.

 *Best pinching position is very close to the tip*

Step 1: Apply Eye Drops, close eyes and massage the eye to help lubricate the lens and eye thoroughly.

Use a Dry OptiWand^® for Contact Lens Removal.

Step 2: Using your non-dominant hand, spread your eyelid WIDE, keeping eyelashes out of the way.

Step 3: Focusing on the Center Hole, draw the OptiWand^® toward your eye until you

touch the soft contact lens gently. Squeeze the ends to fit your eye socket prior to Pinching the lens.

Step 4: When you feel the OptiWand^® touch the contact lens, carefully pinch and swipe away from the eye.

Some can PUSH the lens down or to the side and out if you are unable to PINCH it.

Some can angle the wand up and pinch the lower half of the lens using a mirror as a guide.
SQUEEZE THE TIP TO FIT YOUR EYE CAVITY SIZE FOR BEST REMOVAL RESULTS.

You CANNOT suction soft lenses by placing the OptiWand^® against them. 

You can Pinch them out with any soft pliable end.

Try ALL Ends.
Practice removal by placing a Soft Lens on your

index or other finger and pinching it with the cup to get a feel for actual use. Never use on a naked eye!
