This short-reach lever moves the end of the lever about 1" closer to the handlebars to make it easier to reach. The black lever in the animation above is the stock lever, and the silver lever (meant to mimic aluminum) is the reduced-reach lever.
The lever is 3D printed from durable PLA+ plastic and is solid for increased strength (no internal voids). PLA+ is UV-resistant and super strong (higher tensile strength than ABS, which Legos are made from). PLA+ can withstand temperatures of up to 130°F. We've been selling these for a few years with no durability issues.
