Episode Storyline: Martin is hospitalized for urgent surgery after he and Danny where shot at with machine guns to get to African terrorist Adisa Teno, who inspired his naive lover Paige Hobson to kill president Gamba, and execute him on the spot. Martin's father, deputy FBI director Victor Fitzgerald, flies in to take charge of the investigation, tempted to accept a deal between US State official Ted Banes and consul general William Nuru to extradite her in exchange for mercenary Emil Dornvald, the failing security chief, who will be found in a trail of corpses.
