Point Of Pines 1889 Program, Broadside, Wild West Show, The Apaches, Sideshow

This amazing one sheet folded program from Point of Pines showcases the list of events occurring for the final day of the Midsummer Music Festival, Sunday August 25th, 1889.

Included is a wild west show, educated horses, trick mules, a Pyrorama show entitled The Apaches, oppertunities to gamble on horse races, Union Army bands, and more.

Also listed are activities and treats such as icecream, popcorn, electric railway rides, roller coasters, free photography English maze and more.

This program measures 12 inches tall and 9.5 inches wide in the closed position. It’s in remarkable condition given that it was a hand out that many folks would have despised of afterward. There’s corner loss, and some edge loss, but the pages are supple, browning, and the center crease is solid.

Really a wonderful piece of antique advertising ephemera.
