Vintage Amberina Jeannette footed Square Compote Wedding Box Candy Dish 6¼"x 3½"
This Vintage Amberina Jeannette footed Square Compote also known as a
Wedding Box, is perfect for a Candy Dish, Trinket Box, or catch all.
It measures 6¼"x 3½" and weighs just under 2 pounds. No chips or
cracks. The color in this style of glass is done by a process called
flashing, where color is added to the exterior of the glass instead of
coloring the glass itself.
There are several areas where the paint flashing has peeled off. The remaining paint could easily
be removed using acetone.
