For your consideration, a fabulous and rare vintage framed wool textile with the United Nations’ International Women’s Year dove logo, circa 1970s California. The piece is unsigned but was either framed or purchased from Gump’s of San Francisco. The wool tapestry is a dark burgundy and slightly muted mustard yellow, mounted on linen, and framed under acrylic. The wool textile and linen are in good condition with no stains but there is some scratching and scuffing to the acrylic box frame, as noted in photos.
