This is an original set published in 1936 and they are in Very Good Condition. You are buying from one of the largest stockist of cigarette and trade cards in the UK.

We just love the pictures in this set which have so much character they include the Indian Rhino, Lion, Tiger, Northern Fur Seal, Elk, Reindeer, Polar Bear, Indian Wild Boar, Elephant, Hippopotamus, Chamois, Walrus, Zebra, Tasmanian Devil, Puma, Red Kangaroo, Cheeta, and Black-backed Jackal many of which are today is in danger due to habitat loss or poaching. There are a couple of more familiar UK creatures too such as the Fox and Badger. The lovely colour pictures are backed by a small write-up about the creature concerned. For instance we learn that the Black-backed Jackal is the enemy of the sheep farmers who pay a reward of seven or sixpence per tail for its destruction. We are also told that the Puma is fond of horse-flesh, but is noted for its friendly disposition towards man - we don't think it would be a good idea to put that to the test! The cards are size 60 x 53mm.
Number of cards in set: M30
