Australia's largest online welding shop
S211 Silicon bronze welding wire is a copper-based alloy containing approximately 3% silicon. They may also contain small percentages of manganese, tin or zinc. They are used for gas tungsten and gas metal arc welding of copper-silicon and copper-zing base metals, to themselves and also to steel. When gas tungsten arc welding with this product, the best results are obtained by keeping the weld pool small. Pre-heating is not required. Welding can be done in all positions but the flat position is preferred.
Precision layer wound wire used for inert gas arc welding of copper, copper-silicon & copper-zinc base metals to themselves & also to steel. Widely used in the fencing industry & also to surface areas subject to corrosion.
