The Schluter® KERDI-SHOWER prefabricated sloped shower trays offer a reliable, waterproof, ready-to-tile shower base. Crafted from lightweight expanded polystyrene (PS40), these trays integrate seamlessly with the Schluter-KERDI-DRAIN system, ensuring a watertight connection. Kerdi pre-sloped trays are ready to install, providing a strong, stable, and waterproof foundation for tiled shower bases. They eliminate the need for a traditional mortar bed and help installers avoid common leveling issues.

It is suitable for direct application with various shower tile options, such as ceramic tile, porcelain tile, cement tiles, granite tiles, marble tiles, glass tiles, travertine tiles, slate tiles, limestone tiles, sandstone tiles, onyx tiles, and quartzite tiles, allowing seamless integration with any shower décor.
 
The PS40-grade EPS used in these trays offers high compressive strength, ensuring durability and longevity in both residential and commercial applications. Selecting the Right Mortar:

For optimal performance and to ensure a secure bond between the KERDI-SHOWER tray and the substrate, Schluter® recommends using their proprietary mortars. Schluter®-ALL-SET® is a premium modified thin-set mortar, available in white (SETA50W) and grey (SETA50G), while FAST-SET® is a rapid-setting modified mortar, also offered in white (SETF50W) or grey (SETF50G). Both provide excellent adhesion and are suitable for a variety of substrates, including plywood and OSB. Schluter®-SET® is an unmodified thin-set mortar, available in white (SET50W) and grey (SET50G), and is ideal for concrete substrates, delivering a strong, reliable bond. During installation, apply the selected mortar evenly to the substrate using a notched trowel, then embed the KERDI-SHOWER tray into the mortar bed, pressing firmly to ensure full coverage and eliminate voids. This process ensures a flat, stable, and level surface ready for tile installation.
