Condition: Acceptable. Defects noted below:

The spine and lower front cover and rear cover show heat/light exposure and a few small areas of apparent biodegradation.

The book binding is good. The inner leaves are very good. Apart from the writings on the front endpaper, pastedown, and endpaper reverse side, there are no other writings, markings, or highlights. The writings contain names and signatures on the front pastedown and both sides of the front endpaper.

Some signatures are recognizable, such as:

William J. Wiman, MSG S/SGT; Joe W. Parson, Maj. Provost Marshal; SFC Edgar J. John; SSG J Mata;  Sidney Johnson, 1LT MPC; Clarence C. Wallace, CWO; Earl Detmering, CW3; L. H. Schweiter, Brig Gnl USA; Vincent D. Roegiers, Brigade SGM.

Other signatures are unrecognizable.

This book appears to have been given to a member of the USAF as a “Thank You” from members of the 173D Airborne for the support the AF provided the Brigade in the Battle at Hill 875 – DakTo in November of 1967.

This book was obtained years ago from a flea market in Byron, GA, a town close to Robins AFB GA. This flea market obtained much of their inventory as payment for cleaning up after estate sales.
