"THE DANAID" BY AUGUSTE RODIN (FRENCH, 1840-1917) carefully copied in "ALVASTONE "from the marble original at the Kunst museum ,Helsinki. This item made and signed by the artist Eylanbekov  at  Alva Museum Replicas in 1990. " THE DANAID" was executed during a period when Rodin was exploring the female nude in recumbent  postures. It is similar to the better known Andromeda which was created  in the same year. Condition very good. 12"long x 7"H X 7"W  ,  weights 12 lbs.
