> Molded above bottom edge "Whitall Tatum No. 1" and opposite "Made in U.S.A. 54-47" above a small circle with "A" inside
> Measures 4" tall with diameters of 3 1/2" at the base and 2 7/8" at the upper wire rings
> Weighs l lb. 8 oz.
> The "circle A" mark indicates Armstrong Cork Company, which purchased Whitall Tatum in 1938; the mark began appearing in the early 1940s.

> Threads are clear and clean
> The "Made in USA / 54-47 / Circle A" molding is very faint (too faint to get a clear picture).
