From my personal collection
Professionally framed art print that I obtained from an art dealer in Germany in 2005. I had it matted and framed in Colorado and it still has its dust cover in tact.

Measures 21 1/2" x 18" approx . Frame is gently used condition. Clean artwork.

I wrote an art gallery in Germany in 2005 and learned the following (I added pics of those pages here on ebay).

"The engravings were rendered by artists of the House of Pierre Giffart. Original Engravings from 1722 (2nd ed) French edition of a work by Bernard de Montfaucon. Important 8th century artwork engravings, copperplate.   Pierre-Francois Giffart (1637-1723) was an engraver and publisher of numerous scientific studies. He is associated with the "Dutch School" of engraving".

"Bernard de Montfaucon, (born 1655 —died 1741, Paris), pioneer in the study of Greek paleography and archaeology and distinguished patristic scholar.  He became a Benedictine Monk in 1676 and in 1687 was sent to Paris to edit the works of the Church Fathers.
