Pair of brass military buttons, 1by Scovill, Mfg, Waterbury, the other perhaps older is by Chase Fischer Spg, New York.  They are similar but different.  The darker one is not as thick as the other.  Which was worn when is unknown to me.  I am assuming the Scovill is WWI while the darker is by Chase also WWI, but I am not certain of that.
