A little research shows that this early anodyne cordial made by B. Fosgate was located in Jamesville, N. Y. Standing 4 and 3/4 inches tall and is a nice light aqua with very bold embossing. Nicely applied lip and very clean with no chips. The last photo shows a very faint stress crack about 1 inch on the back side of this one with a rectangular area for the label to be placed. It is not very noticeable but want to mention this. Otherwise a very nice bottle which is not seen very often. The Johnson’s Anodyne is more commonly found than the one made by Fosgate’s and sometimes this is often listed as FosCate’s. At any rate, this is a very nice bottle overall. Hope you may enjoy adding this to your collection. Thanks David
