This is a wonderful Victorian silverplate confectionery / brides basket by James Tufts of Boston.  This 5-3/4" top diameter X 1-5/8" tall quadruple silver plate candy dish or bridal basket has a crimped mouth edge and a finely done etched profile of a lovely woman with leaf background in the middle.  The handle of the basket is missing.  It is stamped "JAMES W. TUFTS QUADRUPLE PLATE BOSTON WARRENTED" and numbered 2824 on the bottom.  It is in good condition but does have a few small dents and some tarnish to the silverplate - understandable since this basket is well over 100 years old.  Any questions, please email.  Thanks!
