Lubomyr Rikhtitsky (pseudonyms: Stepan Liubomyrskyi, Stepan Emerson, Mykola Khortytsia), 1921–1983, was a multifaceted individual known for his roles as a soldier in the 1st Ukrainian Division of the Ukrainian National Army, a graphic artist, author, publisher, editor, and writer. The author moved to Germany in 1946 and began studying journalism and forestry at the Ukrainian Technical and Agricultural Institute in Regensburg. Throughout his life, Rikhtitsky authored numerous works, including short story collections and novels such as "Cruel Dawns" (1947) and "Tribe of Wolves" (1951). He also contributed to the film industry with screenplays like "I Will Never Forget" (1969). Additionally, he was a philatelist and founder of the "Ukrainian Underground Post" series. Lyubomirsky's unexpected passing occurred on July 16, 1983, in Chicago, leaving behind a legacy of artistic and literary contributions.
