5 1/2" around. Sign that comes ready to hang that reads FARM FRESH EGGS with a hen on the front.  Its round and ceramic but the back is cork. White silky twisted rope trim lines it and forms a loop for easy hanging for the wall of your farmhouse or even farm animal themed home. It could be a hangable trivet but I'm not real sure.
