This 3rd edition book of Alcoholics Anonymous has some problems, but not from wear. The inside cover and opposite blue page have inscriptions as does the next half-title page. Otherwise, all pages are clean and white still. The binding is still tight too. However, the boards have been trimmed down to fit into the custom leather book cover. I suspect that the cover was made using the dimensions of the book and no account was taken for added room to slide the boards into the flap pockets. Thus, when finished, the front and back boards had to be trimmed down. But this is a bit hard to notice when in cover. Perhaps it was made by an alcoholic too. We do seem to have problems making things fit in our lives, if you know what I mean. You know, progress, not perfection.
Anyway, the name on the leather book cover is Linda King. I don't know her story, but surely there are other Linda's out there, and some may have the last name of King! But if you replace the book, it will take some work on your part.
