MY GRADING SYSTEM: 

VG+ - Very Good+ : almost like new, just a few issues to cover, usually unread pages 

VG - Very Good : pages show some mild reading wear, the cover will have some edge wear or a few other flaws 

VG- - Very Good- : somewhere between Very Good and Good+ - a few issues short of being Very Good, like creases on cover, light discoloration or foxing - nothing too distracting. 

G+ - Good+ : close to being Very Good with a few small but significant blemishes like curled corners, small cover creases, spine creases 

G - Good, reading wear, rubbing along edges, spine creases, possibly a few small pen marks, some slight moisture wrinkling, general wear and tear … these are your reading/studying copies … 

F - Fair : cover damage, reading wear to pages, covers rubbed, corners curled, blemishes on cover or light water damage - but still good reading copies.
