Antique French Gilt Bronze Lint Brush w/ Hand Painted Miniature Portrait; Up for sale is the exquisite French gilt bronze lint brush with enameled miniature portrait and guilloche decoration, dated late 19^th, early 20^th century.

The lint brush in a long rectangular shape with arched ends has a gold gilt bronze handle to hold the brush fibers. A miniature portrait under glass depicting a little girl dressed in Victorian style is hand painted on the top center of the bronze handle. Both sides of the miniature portrait are decorated with wavy guilloche in blue and under glass. The bronze handle is elegantly decorated in relief by floral and leave motifs to surround the miniature portrait and guilloche that are set as mosaics. The lateral sides of the bronze handle are also decorated with beautiful geometric motifs including sun flowers.

Lint brush with fibers for picking up lint, hair, and debris from fabrics and upholstery. Lint brushes are a great alternative to lint rollers.

Measures: 7” long x 1 ¼” wide x 2” deep (with brush); Brush, 1 ¼” deep; Weight, 5.5 oz (~156 grams).

Condition: Very good and clean, brush fibers with elasticity function well. Notably, the brush fibers are mildly elevated at arched ends.
