Vintage, wonderful condition & patina mortise locks, circa 1880.
Each is completely restored, comes with a key, heavy brass face, intricate Eastlake pattern, overall very nice, clean and functions perfectly.
Requires a standard size 5/16" knob post shaft.
Mortise lock has a face plate length of 6 1/8" and a width of 1" and thickness of 1/8". Likely used for an entry door, perhaps a side door, very well built lock.
Backset (the distance from the front edge of the face plate to the center of the knob post hole) is 2 5/8".
Screws are on 5 1/4" centers.
The drop from the center of the knob post hole to the center of the round portion at the top of the key slot is 2 1/2".
Very nice lock, great matched pair, should last another 130 years!
