This is a Britsh Made electro plated nickel silver sugar dispenser from the 1920's or 30's Victorian styled.  You would unscrew the lid and fill it with sugar.  Once the lid is put back in place you would press the button on top and the bottom opens up to dispense the sugar. This dispenser still works as intended.  See photos for condition and the hallmarks on the bottom.
