This is a amazing specimen containing fossil bivalve (Cardinia Sp) and small belemnite. It was collected from Scunthorpe, UK, many years ago and has been recently prepared and polished. It is approx 200 million years old, has amazing colour, calcite preservation and displays beautifully. Specimen has been repaired, but isn't very visible. Specimen has a cut base so can be displayed freestanding.
Specimen measures approx 13.7cm x 9.5cm x 2.8cm. The bivalve measures approx 12.2cm x 5.7cm and the belemnite approx 2.7cm x 0.5cm.
