This antique pair of French Bisque Porcelain female busts, crafted by Mauger & Letu during the 1850-1899 . Both busts are hand painted & marked with impressed mark. One bust is marked Alsace & is in traditional dress for a woman in the 1870s living in Alsace. I am presuming the bust marked Lorraine is representing the same type of thing except she represents a lady living in the Lorraine area of France. Each are 10 3/4” tall, 5 1/2” wide at the shoulders, 3” square base. Good condition. One has an older repair to the base that is starting to fail. Please see photos and ask any questions. Thanks for looking!!!
