This motor was in my late father's basement. It is a continuous duty self-starting electric motor, 3450 RPM that will run on either 110 or 220 volts. It face-mounts with a 6" square hole pattern and a keyed 1/2" shaft. I wired the motor up to a power cord and it runs like a top. Bearings are tight and quiet.
It is heavy but will fit (barely) into a large flat rate box but that might be risky since there is not much room for padding and reinforcement. A larger box will allow more of that.
