Original lithograph by Joan Miro for "Derriere Le Miroir" and published in Paris by the French art dealer Aimé Maeght in 1970.  The lithograph's colors are vibrant, and the printing by Imprimerie Arte is of the highest quality. The verso of this lithograph has text written in French.  Print size:  15 x 11 inches.

Derrière le Miroir was an art magazine published from 1946 to 1982. There was a total of 253 editions in 200 volumes. The large format magazine was illustrated with original lithographs (in addition to a lithograph cover), as well as some reproductions. Writers and poets like Aragon, Beckett, Char, Eluard, Prévert, Queneau, Reverdy, Sartre all contributed texts. Most of the major artists of the second half of the twentieth century created lithographs for Derrière le Miroir including: Chagall, Léger, Miro, Calder, Tapies, Rebeyrolle, Fielder, Chillida, Garache, Braque, Matisse, Giacometti, Riopelle, Ubac, Tal-Coat, Kandinsky and others.
