Home & Garden Extras is a family-run business, based in West Sussex. We trade both online and at gardening events across the UK such as The Hampton Court Flower Show and BBC Gardeners World Live. We pride ourselves on the quality of our products and our commitment to customer service.

Many of our products are exclusive to us and we manufacture a number of our most popular ranges here in the UK.

What types of payment do you accept? 

All payments are processed through eBay-managed payments. If you have questions about the types of payment that are accepted, please contact eBay Support.

Purchase multiple items and save on shipping

f you plan to purchase multiple items to save on combined shipping, DO NOT PAY until all items are purchased. Items must be purchased using the same user I.D. If you are buying multiple items to save on COMBINED SHIPPING, items must be checked out at the same time, with ONE payment.

UK Mainland Deliveries

We offer a flat rate of £3.99 postage and packaging per order on orders under £50 and free delivery on orders over £50, for all orders for delivery within the UK Mainland.

The estimated delivery time on all orders is 2 -3 working days.

We always select the best courier based on the items (or combination of items) you have purchased. The couriers we use include DPD, DX, Amazon Shipping, Royal Mail and Evri. Tracking information will be provided via email once your order has been dispatched. Upon receiving this email, you will have the option to re-schedule delivery, or have the parcel left with a neighbour or somewhere safe outside if you?re not at home on the scheduled delivery day.

If you provide a mobile number while placing your order DPD will also text you on the morning of the delivery giving you a one-hour delivery window.

We dispatch a handful of smaller items with Royal Mail. In an effort to keep our delivery costs down, orders dispatched with Royal Mail are sent on a second-class service and unfortunately, we are unable to provide tracking information. If you have not received your order within 5 days please do contact us and we will look into it.

Home & Garden Extras is a member of Made In Britain, a thriving group of businesses united by the goal of ensuring the growth and longevity of domestic manufacturing. the organisation, which was set up in 2012, is a not-for-profit and aims to celebrate the diversity, creativity, and high standards of British manufacturers.

Proudly manufacturing in Britain for over 30 years

We have produced items domestically since our company began in 1990. As such, joining Made In Britain was an obvious step. As an approved member of the group, we now proudly display the Made In Britain mark on our website and product labels. We are in great company. Made In Britain aims to ensure that its members adhere to good business standards and that their products are safe, high-quality, and represent value for money. Going forward, we hope to work with other members to really showcase what Britain's manufacturing industry can achieve.

We could not be prouder of our British-made products. The majority of our Rusty Range items, which are made from raw solid steel designed to artfully rust, are made in our West Sussex workshop. This includes items from across the Home & Garden Extras website, such as our plant support bows, many of our decorative garden stakes, and our growing obelisks.

With their timelessly stylish designs, they will fit seamlessly into both classic and contemporary décor. Also, they can sit on either side of your door without fear of rust, as their steel frames are coated in a black, resilient finish.

Despite their French name, we manufacture these elegant planters in Britain. Each is made from strong steel with a weatherproof black coating and has a sturdy base that will stop any accidental knocking over. To cater for different needs, we offer a low Jardinière, a high Jardinière, a two-tier Jardinière, and a three-tier Jardinière.

While we aim to manufacture as many of our products in the UK as possible, we also import some items from trusted suppliers. As such, the mark is not applicable to all of our products and has not been used to indicate so.

Returns and Exchanges

We offer a 28-day returns and exchanges policy and we endeavour to make this process as quick and easy as possible. We offer a delivery and collection service provided by DPD Local. Next-day delivery and/or collections can be offered providing the issue is brought to our attention before 1 pm, Monday to Thursday. The procedure varies slightly depending on the reason for the return.

If you receive the wrong item

On the rare occasion that the wrong item is sent, we'll aim to rectify the situation as soon as possible. We will dispatch the correct item and have the incorrect item collected at the same time. The collection won't require you to be home if you're able to leave the parcel somewhere safe outside. Simply provide us with details as to where the parcel can be left and we will arrange re-delivery and collection. This service is free of charge.

We use recycled packaging where ever possible in an effort to reduce our carbon footprint, so if the labelling on the outside of the box doesn't match what you have ordered please check inside the box before contacting us.

If an item arrives damaged

Although DPD Local has an incredible track record when it comes to parcels arriving safely, occasionally damages do occur in transit. If you receive an item and find that it is damaged, please inform us as soon as possible. We will aim to rectify the situation on a case-by-case basis. If an item simply requires the replacement of a damaged part, we will dispatch the replacement of the damaged part on a next-day service. If the item needs to be exchanged we will dispatch a replacement item and have the damaged item collected at the same time. The collection won't require you to be home if you're able to leave the parcel somewhere safe outside. Simply provide us with details as to where the parcel can be left and we will arrange re-delivery and collection. This service is free of charge.
