Please Note: These fit  Generation 1-3 Glock Pistols Only. If you want to use it on a GEN 4 Glock model you will need an adapter sold separately.

This Guide Rod Assembly will NOT work without adapter in Gen 4 configurations.

Stainless steel guide rods provide a decisive advantage for all Glock owners. Special features include a rigid stainless steel body that improves lock up by completely removing "guide rod flex". The hex screw removable tip allows the user to choose various spring weights that will calibrate the ammunition to his gun. Used by Law Enforcement and competitive shooters worldwide, will not chip or crack like the factory plastic guide rods are prone to do. Will not damage or wear your polymer frame and guaranteed to provide a lifetime of reliable service.

We recommend the use of Blue Loctite on the hex screw threads. This will provide a firm hold and still allow easy removal when necessary.

ISMI premium springs are manufactured exclusively with certified aerospace specification alloys; chrome silicon. The springs are heat treated, shot peened and stress relieved after winding to enhance performance and durability. ISMI sets the standard for OEM, aftermarket recoil spring replacement.

What Recoil spring Weight do you need?
  • 11 - 13lbs Spring weight is typically used for Competition Shooting, or if you are using a Recoil Compensator on your Barrel.

    • A lighter weight Recoil spring allows for a faster recoil time. This allows the shooter to stay on target longer and makes target re-acquisition, Faster and Easier.

  • 16lbs Recoil Springs are for Reduced Power Ammunition Loads
  • 17 - 18lbs Glock Factory Weight Recoil Springs
  • 19 - 24lbs Recoil Springs are for Heavy Power Ammunition Loads +p or +p+
