The PD00001486 Dryer Timer Knob accepts a D-shaped shaft. You will need to replace this part if your timer will not advance, or if your dryer will not start. Grab your old knob with a firm grip and pull to install this part. Ensure that the inside of the part has come off during this first step as well. Next, you will align your new knob onto the D-shaped shaft and snap it into place.
