Dinky Toys No. 109 "Gabriel" Model T Ford. From the Gerry Anderson Secret Service series. A lovely example in bright yellow body with black bonnet (hood), wings (fenders) and boot (trunk). Truly this model is in as-new condition.
Original now slightly age hardened tires are mounted to their original yellow spoked hubs. Perfect windscreen, steering wheel, Gabriel figure, door decals, brass parts and baseplate.
There are no issues with the model and it truly looks like it could have left the factory yesterday, but in fact it was over 50 years ago!
The original box is in equally outstanding condition with perfect illustrations on both sides. The The interior packing piece is also outstanding as the photos show. Included is the proper shipping insert as well. The only issues of note for the box is one outer box end that is partially torn (10mm) but is still attached and a price marking of 54p on one box end. Given that the marking appears to be in pencil, it could likely be removed if so desired. In all a great box for a superb model.
In summary, a splendid boxed original addition to your Dinky Toys, Gerry Anderson or Ford collection. This model and box will not disappoint the most discriminate collector.
