Read this before you cut it
This is for hard floors, not fitted carpet. If you are trying to stop a rug sliding on top of a carpet, it is the wrong product. Carpet gives the weave nothing smooth to grip against, and you need a rug to carpet gripper instead.

Lay it whole and test it before you trim it. Put it under the rug at full size, walk on it, and see how it holds on your particular floor. Grip varies with how smooth and how clean the surface is. Once the roll has been cut it cannot be returned, and that is far and away the most common regret people have with this product.

Sweep or vacuum first. Grit caught between the weave and the floor is the usual reason grip disappoints on a surface that should work perfectly well.
What four square metres gets you
FOUR SQUARE METRES
Two metres by two. Enough for a large living room rug with a good amount left over, and most people end up cutting offcuts for use elsewhere in the house.
CUT IT WITH SCISSORS
No tools, no template. Measure the rug, cut the roll, lay it down. Thin and flexible enough to sit flat without a visible ridge under the rug.
NO ADHESIVE, NO RESIDUE
It grips through the criss cross weave rather than glue. Lift it and there is nothing left on the floor underneath.
STOPS THE RUCKING TOO
Not just sliding. It holds a rug or runner flat so the edges stop curling and rippling, which is what turns a runner into a trip hazard.

Safety and care
Keep away from open flames and high heat sources. Do not use over underfloor heating or an electric under-rug heating panel.

Hand wash in warm water and air dry fully before putting it back down. If grip fades after months of use, a rinse usually restores it.
